Who I Work With
I work with individual teens and adults in a virtual setting. Because of this format, I work with clients whose support needs are appropriate for outpatient, remote therapy. We can always discuss this further on a consultation call and determine whether it feels like a good fit.
More than anything, I tend to connect well with clients who are curious about themselves and open to exploring that curiosity together. Therapy with me is less about fixing and more about understanding—making space to notice patterns, ask questions, and stay with what comes up, even when it’s uncomfortable. Often, we can get a sense of whether we “click” during a consultation.
While there’s no single type of client I work with, many of the people I see share some of the following qualities:
Drawn to honesty, depth, and humor
Quick, complex thinkers (I’m here for tangents!)
Children of emotionally immature caregivers
Second-generation and/or from immigrant families
Multi-racial or holding complex, less visible identities
Some of the concerns that often come up in my work include:
Complex trauma
Shame and self-criticism
Food and body image concerns
Anxiety and panic
Episodic depression
Relationship difficulties
Many of my clients are moving through transitions—whether that’s shifts in identity, relationships, work, or life direction. These moments can bring a lot to the surface. Together, we work not only toward relief but also toward making meaning of what’s emerging so that you can move through these transitions in a way that feels more aligned and fully your own.
